Attorney Fees
Our Washington bankruptcy lawyers help hundreds of people wipe out and “eliminate” millions of dollars of debt every year. We also understand the financial realities of our clients. We offer low flat fees and affordable payment plans that put our clients on a path to a fresh financial start under the Federal and Washington state bankruptcy laws. Let us help you determine if you qualify for bankruptcy.
We offer a convenient payment plan for our fees, as you get ready for bankruptcy. After our free consultation, you can retain us for $200. Once you have retained us, you can contact us for advice and we will take calls from your creditors and confirm that you are our client. If a creditor knows that you are about to file bankruptcy and have an attorney, often they will stop harassing you for payments. We will advise you on what debts you can safely ignore while you get ready for bankruptcy. This should relieve a lot of stress and improve your cash flow and allow us to come up with a plan to pay our flat fee.
We charge a flat fee, which means we do not charge for the time spend on every phone call or other matter that requires work on your case. You can be confident that you know how much your bankruptcy will cost. You will not be surprised at a later date by a statement of our fees showing how quickly the costs add up in your case.
When you are sure that bankruptcy is the right choice, you can stop making payments on debts that are not going anywhere. This will free up some cash flow to afford our fees. If creditors start calling you wondering why you are not making payments, we will take their calls and confirm that we will be filing a bankruptcy for you. Most creditors will give you a chance to file bankruptcy before continuing to call you.
We usually need all our fees paid in a Chapter 7 before we file your case. However, we can work with some clients in emergencies. In a Chapter 13, we always charge part of our fees up front and part of our fees through the Chapter 13 plan payments.
We can accept payment from a friend or family member as long as that person fully understands that our obligation is to you, not them. We protect your confidential information and zealously represent your interests, not those of anyone who may be paying your fees.
If you are able to pay your fees all at once, we can usually offer a discount. Otherwise, we will work out a payment schedule and will start working for you immediately though the actual filing of your bankruptcy may be a few months away.
