Scholarship Terms & Conditions
There is a limit of one application and one essay per student. The Law Office of Jason S. Newcombe employees and any family members are not eligible to participate. Any submission that is defamatory, obscene, pornographic, illegible, late, plagiarized, or otherwise deemed objectionable will be automatically disqualified. In addition, any student that is found to not meet the eligibility requirements mentioned above will be automatically disqualified.
Applicants should be aware that simply because an applicant may be eligible for Washington State Attorneys Future Leaders of Washington State Scholarship it does not guarantee that such eligible applicant will receive the scholarship.
Washington State Attorneys Future Leaders of Washington State Scholarship winner will be selected by a third party (GNGF, LLC), though Washington State Attorneys reserves the right to participate in the selection process. Washington State Attorneys and GNGF, LLC do not discriminate in the selection of scholarship recipients on the basis of race, creed, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, or upon any other prohibited basis.
By submitting an application to Washington State Attorneys Future Leaders of Washington State Scholarship, you and your parents or legal guardians release and agree to hold harmless Washington State Attorneys and all employees from any liability whatsoever in connection with submitting an application, accepting any prize, or anything that may arise related to the scholarship.
No applications or essays will be returned to the submitter. The application and essay will become the property of Washington State Attorneys, and Washington State Attorneys may use them as it sees fit.
By submitting an application, you accept the terms and conditions which are non-negotiable and subject to change at the sole discretion of Washington State Attorneys.
The scholarship award will be paid via check directly to the institution in which the winning student is enrolled. The winner will be required to provide all information regarding his or her enrollment that is necessary to administer the scholarship funds, including (but not limited to) the name of the institution and his or her student ID number. If the winner decides to attend a school other than the one provided, it is his or her responsibility to notify GNGF (513-444-2016) so that a revised check may be sent.
